years, Maine master guide for 50+ years. Lifetime member Maine
Professional Guides Association, board member since 2002,
chairman of board for two terms. Board member of Maine Guides
Education Fund since inception, president since 2011. Served as
chair of Sportsman Forest Landowners Alliance 2013-14, 23 years
on Governors Landowners Sportsman Relations Council and
Landowners Sportsman Relation Advisory Board. Served on numerous
task forces, groups and committees for IF&W and MPGA.
Served 6 years on IF&W Advisory Council , 3 years

Jeff is a 35 year strawberry grower who is now
retired from farming. He is a Master Maine Guide and owner
of Georges River Outfitters of Owls Head, Maine. He
specializes in showing great hunting and fishing opportunities
of Maine to clients from all over the world. Jeff is the
president of the Maine Professional Guides Association since
2009, and has served on their board of directors since 1993. He
has volunteered his time and service to many other non- profit
groups to help enhance and protect Maine’s great natural
resources.

Rick Hill is the former owner of Mt Chase Lodge at Shin Pond
since 1976. A collage graduate of Bryant University in Rhode
Island in business management, worked for the former Digital
Equipment Corporation in Massachusetts for five years as a
senior printed circuit designer, prior to moving to Maine to
become a Master Guide and lodge owner. He is a life member of
the Maine Professional Guide's Association serving as President
twice, and was instrumental in helping to form the Sportsmans
Forest Landowner's Alliance, still an active organization today.
